Memorial Moment 

        In 1991, Michael Lin led a group of more than 50 kindergarten principals and teachers to attend the AMI International Conference in Japan.

  In 1991, Top & Apple began to sell the Montessori materials of the Dutch Nienhuis company as an agent in Taiwan, and became the exclusive general agent of Nienhuis for  more than 10 years since 1992.

       From 1995 to 2000，Top & Apple organized nearly 100 teachers from Taiwan in two batches to receive Early Childhood(3-6 Diploma) Montessori Teacher Training at the AMI Center in Denver, USA.

        In August 1998, Michael Lin initiated and vigorously promoted the establishment of the  Montessori Teachers Association in Taiwan.

      In August 1998, the company invited Renilde Montessori (granddaughter of Maria Montessori), President of the AMI International Montessori Association, to give a speech in Taiwan.

   
  ANCONA EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS CO., LTD was established in 2003 and is located in Shanghai, a city known as the "Oriental Paris".

  From 2004 to 2005, the company launched the "Ancona International Certification Expert Lecture" column in Beijing's "China Early Childhood Education Weekly", published many articles, and shared Montessori education concepts.

    IMC-E-NEWS October 2006 reported on Ancona brand Montessori materials, which drew a lot of attention to Ancona.

 In 2007, the Centenary Celebration of Maria Montessori was held at the Marriot Hotel in New York, USA. Ancona got six booths to showcase Montessori materials and was one of the largest exhibitors.

In January 2009, we welcomed Professor Liang Zhishen of Beijing Normal University and other teachers to visit Taiwan.

        In January 2009, we conducted Montessori exchanges at Professor Li Dingzhi's kindergarten in Taiwan. 

       In 2010, we invited Feland L. Meadows, President for The Montessori Accreditation Council For Teacher Education, Inc  and senior Montessori education experts from both sides of the Taiwan Strait to hold a cross-strait Montessori education summit in Chengdu.

The Master's Program in Child Psychology and Education of Campbellsville University was held in  Ancona from June 21st to 23rd, 2024. Dr. Sharon, the professor from Campbellsville, delivered a carefully prepared and wonderful course. The course was using high-quality  materials from Ancona for demonstration and explanation.

Conferences and Exhibitions 

        Since 2005, Ancona has participated in AMI Montessori conferences in Austria, Czech, Thailand, China,  as well as the American AMS, MEPI, NCME Montessori Conferences, the 2007 American AMS Montessori Centennial Conference, the Korean AMS Conference, the Beijing AMS and Shanghai AMS Montessori Conferences, etc. In addition, it has participated in large-scale exhibitions many times: the Nuremberg International Toy Fair in Germany, the New York International Toy Fair in the United States, the Hong Kong International Toy Fair, the Shanghai International Toy Fair, the Beijing Early Childhood Education Exhibition, etc., and has received attention from the industry and praise from Montessori people.

Language R&D

    

       After more than 30 years of continuous teaching practice, Chinese language and culture have been integrated into Montessori education, and the Montessori education method has been used to show the characteristics of the Chinese language. Since 2014, nearly 10,000 montessori teachers from major provinces and cities have received Ancona's promotion courses.
